10.30am – 12pm
As the Broadlands Fun Day grew in popularity over the years so too did the number of people visiting each year. In 2019 we listened to public feedback from parents with children with additional needs and came up with a plan to try and make our event more inclusive for children and families who struggle with the crowds.
During the enforced break for Covid we worked with Bridgend Autism, Friends of Heronsbridge and Inclusibility to design a Quiet Hour where families could enjoy our day. In 2022 we added a quiet hour to the Broadlands Fun Day, this has grown in popularity since, and has now turned to a quiet time for children and families with additional needs, we are proudly the most inclusive family fun day in Bridgend.
